Hair Clips Of Your Choice

Hair Clips Of Your Choice: Most Women Prefer

You are particular about your attire. You are conscious about your footwear. Everything comes in perfect match when you put them on. So how can you be drab with your hairstyle when everything is prettily put in order? When hair care and hair style matters hair clips come in. Pretty women are very fond of hair accessories and hair clips share a big part of their dressing kit.

Hair clips are exclusively fashionable among the hair dressing accessories and come in vivid designs, colors and various shapes. Each one is made for particular type of hair. Again hair clips are needed for setting of hair and giving them curls. So partly fashion and partly requirement, hair clips for ladies are unanimous.

Some elegant and stylish hair clips which you would love to buy and keep; check the list:

- Jumbo jaw or you may know it as combing clutch. Fashionable jumbo jaws manufactured by France Luxe look splendid when put around to hold together thick, curly hair. The jumbo jaws come in different shades and sometimes in a single color and also in combination of shades with patches all over the body of the jaw. Matching it with your outfit gives a great look. And this type of clip is must to hold the hair tight in case the hair is thick and difficult to set in a shape.

- Four tooth jaws are common and used at any time to club the hair. The designing is very smart. With a round like body shape the four teeth are rightly spaced at exact gaps and the distance between the two is wider than ordinary jaw clips. This helps to make a pony at ease or a form a knot without letting the hair spreading out on your face. A casual wear but goes
pretty well with style.

- Long barrettes come down from the classical era it seems. And long and skinny barrettes have never been out of fashion. Especially for long hairs this barrette is unparallel. Just brush your hair and clip it around the hair from the neck portion. Style up the front in partite portions or back brush and pull the hair tight to lock them in the barrette.

- Latest and most hot of current style are the dragon hair clips. Simply smart these hair clips have been technologically devised with a push and pull button system. Your hair remains secured within the hold and when you remove not a single hair gets broken. Buy one immediately and feel good to style up your hair with this beautiful clip of modern era.

Scarf Senarios

Scarf Senarios, Be Ahead of the Game

Scarves are the must have fashion accessory of this season. In this article we'll give a few scenarios in which you might consider wearing a scarf and what it can look great with. These are casual "scarf scenarios" meant to help you look and feel great in relaxed, fun settings this holiday season.

Hitting the slopes this winter? If you are planning a day on skis, you'll find that warm pants, a thick wool sweater and a long, bright red scarf are the recipe for looking great while you swish down the slopes. If it's warm enough, a sweater and scarf will be enough to keep you warm without getting too bulky (as you would if you were wearing a ski jacket. And when you walk into the lodge, the scarf can come off and you'll be a comfortable temperature for sipping hot chocolate by the fire and snuggling with someone warm.

Looking to go out with some friends for a night on the town? A turtleneck sweater, a three quarter length leather jacket, and jeans look great when combined with a brightly colored scarf (or a scarf of the same color as your sweater). Make sure that your scarf is not the same length or longer than your coat, but rather shorter. Otherwise, it could look odd.

Got a hot date? A long trench coat looks great and when paired with a subdued, solid color scarf, you'll look fantastic. If you are taller, don't go for a scarf that's too long: this will make you look too tall. However, if you're shorter or plus sized, you may prefer a scarf that is longer: it will add the illusion of height and slimness to your figure.

Meeting the family at the family cottage for Christmas? A durable, hand knit scarf of medium length is perfect. It's versatile in case you find yourself sledding with your nieces or nephews or out on a long walk with your siblings: wrap it around your neck a few times for warmth or leave it open to cool off a little. What's more, your mother will be happy to see that you're finally listening to her and wearing a scarf!

Heading out after work for drinks with coworkers? Your at-work wardrobe can be made to look more casual with different shoes and a scarf. Depending on your outfit, you may consider switching from a trench coat to a three quarter length coat, too.

And women, don't forget that a small, light silky scarf can be tied around your neck for an all day scarf look that brings attention to your face or helps to bring some pizzazz to a drab looking outfit. If you're tired of your wardrobe but can't find the right "bling" to add, a scarf could be the right option.

Not only can scarves make you look great at every casual occasion, but they also make the perfect gift for...just about anyone. Got someone on your list who you're not sure what to get them? You can always rely on the trusty scarf as a great gift.

Just By Wearing a Scarf

Don Juan Look-A-Like... Just By Wearing a Scarf?

Are you looking for a great gift to give a guy for Christmas? Or are you a guy looking to make a smart and fashionable addition to your wardrobe? If so, one hot item for the fall and winter this season are fashionable women's and men's scarves. You'll want one of these around your neck.

Today's men's scarves are not like the ones your grandma knit for you when you were a boy. These great looking items are serious wear for the serious man who wants to succeed at work and in his social life. No, it isn't going to magically transform you into a Don Juan, but looking good doesn't hurt... for either your career or your social life.

How's the best way to buy one of these great looking items? This is essential "Fashion 101" stuff for the guy who wants to look good. Remember, it's an accessory that shouldn't draw attention to itself, but should enhance the overall look of your wardrobe. What makes these such a good purchase is that you can own several really basic essentials in your wardrobe and just add smart and fashionable accessories (like scarves and ties) quite inexpensively.

What color should it be? Your scarf should not be a distinct color from everything else in your outfit. Instead, it should pick up some color from another item that you're wearing. For example, if you've got a blue shirt, your accessory should have a little of the same blue in it. One example might be a light blue plaid scarf with dark blue woven in... that dark blue and your shirt should match. Another example that can look really good is if you match them together: a red tie and a striped scarf with a little of the same red in one of the stripes. Two colors that you might never normally buy - but which are very popular right now - are purple and pumpkin. Pumpkin (that's orange, guys) can look great against a long black wool trench coat. It will look even better when you wear a dark blue shirt and a pumpkin colored tie.

What pattern should it be? If the rest of your clothes are plain, you may want a patterned one. If your clothes are patterned (for example if you have a checked shirt or a multicolored tweed sport coat) then a plain scarf is in order.

What texture should it be? Scarves should be the opposite texture to your coat. If your coat is a thick wool coat, then a thin one, perhaps of cashmere, is appropriate. If your coat is fairly thin, you may consider a thicker scarf. However, the aviator look can work on some guys and that's a smooth (leather) jacket with a lightly textured white one. So a smooth coat can often be matched with a lighter or coarser texture.

These great accessories can also look great when pair with a three quarter length jacket and jeans. Be sure to choose a thin to medium thickness to longer length and if the rest of your clothes are fairly dark, you may want to go with a splash of color.

Scarves are hot this season and you'll want to get a couple to look good on the job and for the ladies.

Parisian Shopping Gems

Parisian Shopping Gems

In this article, you'll find the latest authentic off-the-beaten-track Parisian shopping gems I encountered whilst scouting the streets of Paris, including Parisian haute couture you can actually afford, a gorgeous boutique of handmade crafts and knick-knacks, and candy heaven in the kind of Chocolaterie that inspired the film Chocolat!

Affordable haute couture fashion in Paris

Keeping my eyes peeled for new and interesting Parisian things for the readers of Paris-Eiffel-Tower-News.com, I happily stumbled upon a new one whilst strolling along the Rue de Paradis (10th district). My attention was grabbed by light and music emanating from the entrance of number 14. I thought it must be a party, but further nosing around paid off well, for I had discovered a new shopping gem from high-fashion Vente Presse (super sales reserved to the media people), which basically means somewhere you can get your hands on haute couture at a massive discount - usually by invitation, and only if you know the right people-

-and four young men did: Levon, Arthur, Micha and Paul started using their Vente Presse access to get hold of high-fashion goods you've probably never dreamed of being able to afford and are now making them available to you! The outlet is called Les Copains D'abord ('Friends First'), after the title of a song by famous French singer and composer Georges Brassens.

Les Copains D'abord offers catwalk fashion at 60-80% discount, spanning the whole clothing and accessory range. Number 14 Rue de Paradis are their start-up premises, and as such are bare and basic in contrast to the exquisite fashion goodies displayed within - but décor is the last thing on your mind when riffling through the stunning range of haute couture!

Some of the labels I saw included: Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen (England), Atsuro Tayama (Japan), D&G, Armani and Versace (Italy), and the list goes on and on-

Les Copains intends to get new premises, so do contact them before dropping by to make sure they're still there (or to find out where they've moved to) at 06 63 08 70 50. Their current address is 14, Rue de Paradis, 75010 Paris

La Boutique Misia

Misia's charming boutique offers another of those genuinely Parisian shopping experience. Operated by the owner - the eponymous artist and craftswoman Misia - and located Rue du Bac in the 7th district, the shop offers various original and personalized fashion goods and knick-knacks, from leather wallets and travel sacks to clothes, hats, scarves, jewelry and containers. Misia herself is at your service, adorning items with names, designs or slogans in beautiful inks and paints. I saw pretty golden boxes reading 'Je vaux de l'or' (I'm worth gold), and 'Je ne suis pas difficile, je me contente du meilleur' (I'm not difficult, I'm quite satisfied with the best).

A lovely and friendly atmosphere pervades Misia's shop as she bustles around touching up her creations for the boutique's large clientele, occasionally stopping to offer candy to visiting children.

Misia does her utmost to have personalized orders ready within two days, and speaks good English. Prices are quite reasonable for these unique creations: passport holders or other pouches range from 10 to 20 euros, travel bags from 50 to 80 euros, and personalized T-shirts for around 50 euros.

The address is 87, Rue du Bac, 75007 Paris. The phone number is 01 42 84 20 52.

'Chocolat' - the genuine article

Attention all chocolate and candy lovers! You're in for a treat when you walk along the Boulevard St. Germain. At number 108, near the crossroads of the busy Boulevard St. Michel, stand the mesmerizing shop-front windows of Patrick Roger - Chocolatier.

If you've ever read Joanne Harris's Chocolat or seen the film with Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp, you'll appreciate seeing the real McCoy. Roger's finely-crafted, innovative and prize-winning chocolate statues are worth the trip alone, but no matter what your chocolate and candy preferences are, you're sure to find something to satisfy your palate amongst the wide range of hand-made sweet creations - from marzipan animals to nougats, jams, fruit jellies and caramels, all home made by Roger and his family - the quinces are even picked from his own garden!

But even for those who don't have a sweet tooth, you'll still appreciate the artistry of Roger's chocolate sculptures, which earned him the coveted award of 'Meilleur ouvrier de France' (France's Best Craftsman) three years ago.

An idea of products and prices:

Nougat: 6.50 euros/100gs
Truffles: 8 euros/100gs
60 cm of various chocolate pieces in a green rectangular box: 120 euros
1 meter of chocolate in a box: 180 euros

Roger Patrick has two other shops, one on the upscale Avenue Victor Hugo (16th district) and another in Sceaux (a town situated on the outskirts of Paris) from which he hails and where his production premises are based.

Once again, the address is 108 Boulevard Saint-Germain, 75006 Paris. The phone number is 01 43 29 38 42, and the nearest metro station is 'Odeon'.

Fun Maternity Clothing

Fun Maternity Clothing - Becoming a Mom Feels Great

In the 21st century, becoming a mom is more fun than apprehension, and from everything from diet to exercising and clothing, everything is enjoyable by the moms of today. The nutritive food has even become more tasty and easy to prepare at home; exercise helps the would-be-mother to be more relaxed and in charge of her body through the changes that maternity brings on; and medical attention has ironed out most of the discomforts that pregnancy begets and designers have competed against each other to make clothing trendier and at the same comfortable for the mother-to-be.

When in Tight Spots, Learn to Laugh at Yourself

This applies to both pregnancy and motherhood, as these periods are often times so harrying and trying that it tests the patience of even the best. However, the world is now incredibly more understanding and helpful, especially when compared to that of decades ago.

Husbands are more careful, doctors are more sympathetic, and fashion is more tolerant. You find a lot of fun maternity clothing in stores today - you have T-shirts with tongue-in cheek sayings, you have P-caps and buttons that are peppered with humor, and all in all, these are things that will keep you smiling all the way through the nine months that you are waiting for the special newcomer in your life.

The discomfort is lessened as well during this time, not only due to highly advanced medication that takes care of the nausea, back ache, blood pressure, edema and other pregnancy-related problems, but also owing in part to the fun maternity clothing that is so much in fashion nowadays.

Gone are the serious and stern looking dresses that marked pregnant women in the past. Today, you can get your choice of fun maternity clothing, including trendy, modern and even sexy outfits that make you happy with your looks even while you are pregnant, which is a time that many women feel incredibly uncomfortable in their own bodies.

However it should also be noted that women these days are dramatically less worried about how they look when compared to that of the past, and rather, they revel in their new role. Both younger and older women find fun maternity clothing extremely appealing.

There is high demand especially for T-shirts with funny sayings because these make it easy for them to laugh at their predicament. The heartburn, the heaviness, the lethargy, the funny feelings in the body, all becomes a little easier to bear when wearing fun maternity clothing.

The fun maternity clothing has come into so much demand, that designers have released special editions consecrated to maternity only. Once upon a time, pregnancy meant total retirement from feeling feminine and beautiful for nine months. Today, the scene is totally the opposite - and the change is wonderful!

Womens Flipflops

Womens Flipflops: Casual Fashion

Shoes are not only articles of clothing: they are a fashion necessity. Codes of public behavior dictate that you MUST wear shoes that match your clothes, and you MUST wear shoes that cater to every occasion. Well, what if there's no occasion to cater to? On "off" days, does it fellow that women should do away with fashion footwear altogether? Not so! Casual footwear such as flipflops could also be a fashion necessity. Just as womens shoes make for eye-catching ensembles for formal occasions, womens flipflops could also lend color to the everyday wardrobe!

Womens flipflops stand in a league of their own, so to speak, when it comes to style. Most ladies footwear comes with that delicate touch, a free-spiritedness that also speaks of sensitivity and grace. There are also flipflops that have a sportier look to them, however.

During the summer heat, we all want footwear that's comfortable and "breezy." A good pair would give maximum breathing space and room for movement for busy feet. Comfort is the key word here: when choosing flipflops for yourself, you need to try it out and see if it feels good for running on the sand in, or going for long leisurely walks around the block in. Think of it as a solid investment, because if you choose a truly durable and stylish pair of flipflops, they won't just be a part of your seasonal wardrobe. Flipflops aren't purely summer wear, but they can provide summer comfort all year round!

Signature flipflops continue to gain ground in the footwear market. Both men and women have proven to be willing to spend good money for a good pair of flipflops to flaunt. Some even buy pairs that cost hundreds of dollars! But we need not remind ourselves that the high cost of designer footwear is offset by their overall value. Designer shoes, slippers, boots and the like are expensive mainly because they're meant to last you a long time. Moreover, they're there so you can show off your good taste and eye for quality clothing. By choosing to buy designer footwear, you don't just accessorize - you accessorize with flair!

Womens flipflops can be delicate in design, and so they are often worn in tandem with feminine casual wear. Ensembles with cutoffs and skirts are often what they go the best with. For sporty types, there are always shorts or skorts, which go well with flipflops with sturdier designs.

Pashmina Shawl

Genghis Khan In a Pashmina Shawl?

Wear a piece of history from the days of Genghis Khan!

When you own a pashmina shawl you own a garment that has been in popular use for thousands of years in one form or another. It served as a practical, religious, and also fo fashion purposes in several cultures and it shows no sign of slowing down! Today, they still serve similar purposes.

Are you looking for a perfect addition to your wardrobe? Are you looking for something to "spice up" your current clothing options? This ancient, but still very much in fashion garment is perfect for the modern woman. In this article we will talk about how to find the perfect womens fashion accessory to give your wardrobe a lift.

The shawl is appropriate in a variety of settings. In formal settings you can wear a beautiful and hand sewn velvet one over your shoulders. This serves both a practical purpose of keeping you warm...especially if your dress has bare shoulders. Also, it serves the fashion purpose of providing a perfect way to bring together your accessories with a large piece that is both clothing and accessory. Look for smooth, solid colors as well as black and white. Four of these gifts? accessories? should serve all of your formal needs.

In less formal corporate settings, (but still require you to look your best), a lightly knit shawl in a neutral color is perfect to go with all of your work wear and it's something you can leave at your desk for those times when it seems like they have turned the heat down. I'd avoid ones with fringes because they look less professional and you'll find they can get in the way.

In less formal settings away from the office...like an evening out with friends or your spouse...a loosely knit one (including ones with fringes or without) is the perfect addition to wear with jeans and a light blouse.

In the least formal settings (and for most of us, that's our favorite and most comfortable setting), a shawl makes the perfect comfort accessory to curl up on the couch in front of the fire with a good book and a glass of wine. The color is less important here, but you should find one as comfortable as you would like. Choose one that is knit and made of wool or cashmere.

Having a shawl for every occasion will suddenly make your life a whole lot simpler. You no longer have to consider the temperature as much when you are looking to lay out your clothes for the day. And instead, you can lay out what will look good and feel good and trust your shawl to keep you warm.

Whether you are in a shoulder-less dress and heels or you are in jeans and cowboy boots, this ancient and a beautiful garment will keep you warm and looking great!
